Not at home on the range: A lot of excitement, and a bit of a let down... After years of waiting for Lego cattle, their three dimensional sculpting has reminded me how much I love the classic projection horse. These seem, well, toy-like... And they don't approve of Joe...

6008 Royal King	The Thoughts of the serene Norro: ...in under a word per brick... A king, a horse, a small set. There was a time when the crown/king were rare, this set put paid to that. And while no nation deserves an abundance of monarchs (or even one?) this proved quite a useful army builder for an elite armed guard based around the torso... A few brick based parts would still have been nice though! What's wrong young fellow?

 

Having been asked for more details on the wedge rounding process... Here are a few more pictures. The cutaway view shows 26 left 2 x 4 wedges arranged to form a circle, right wedges form the next layer, and the repetition holds the shape together...
