6017 King’s Oarsmen, Year: 1987 Elements: 42 Figs: 2 list Price: $3.75 (USD) Lugnet score (out of 100): 66 Review # 14, The Thoughts of the scintillating Norro: ...in under a word per brick... A brilliant little army builder which was slightly different from your run-of-the-mill small set. The sails/flags are universally useful, the knights (with both styles of shields) are nice, and the set itself is not bad at all for the price... Guest Minifig Comments: “It’s only the use of the word ‘oar’ I question. I mean sure we have weapons, but compared to those newfangled oar pieces... Time to pay tribute to a true legend, 6991 Monorail Transport Base, Lugnet Score (out of 100): 90, List Price: $178 (USD), Elements: 568, Year: 1994, Figs: 4, Having finally obtained this masterpiece, after years of saving, I was shocked not to have my own high expectations disappointed. But she is a true beauty. From the colour combination, the range and scope of the layout, the fun working features, and the underlying solid build, there is just so much to enjoy... The monorail switches, and direction controls are also delightful examples of complex simplicity. I hope to be building monorail layouts of my own in the future, and that is the ultimate test of any Lego set, whether or not it inspires... 6008 Royal King	The Thoughts of the serene Norro: ...in under a word per brick... A king, a horse, a small set. There was a time when the crown/king were rare, this set put paid to that. And while no nation deserves an abundance of monarchs (or even one?) this proved quite a useful army builder for an elite armed guard based around the torso... A few brick based parts would still have been nice though! Year: 1995 Elements: 11 Figs: 1 Lugnet score (out of 100): 58 Review # 13 Guest Minifig Comments: “A kingdom, a kingdom, for this horse!” Resources: Comments from Lugnet members,Inventory (courtesy of Peeron) Comments on Lugnet Inventory from Peeron

6055 Prisoner Convoy	The Thoughts of the serene Norro: ...in under a word per brick... The original calvary expansion pack. Five horses, three knights, and a pesky peasant/rebel. This set was not only playable, but also featured a creative build, utilizing only fairly standard pieces. Really excellent, especially for the small size. I wish there were more expansion sets as varied as this one today... Year: 1985 Elements: 112 Figs: 4 Lugnet score (out of 100): 73 Review # 12 Guest Minifig Comments: Panting, running, caught again, escape again... etc. These simple play scenarios are very wearisome for the innocent peasants like myself... Now if only they had given me a pitchfork...
